Description
English: In this amusing scene, the tiger rolls on the ground, rubbing its back in a manner similar to that of domestic cats. The old oak tree resembles those that Barye sketched in the Forest of Fontainebleau. Barye repeated this tiger several times in his watercolors, altering the backgrounds.
