Title
Antler or horn spindle whorl, unknown date.
Description
English: Small bone or horn spindle whorl or weight. The whorl is sub-circular with a large circular central perforation measuring 11.2mm in diameter. The whorl is rectangular in section and the surface is polished. One face is smooth but the other has a slight groove around the circumference, possibly due to the structure of the bone rather than for decoration. The whorl measures 22.41mm in diameter, 5.08mm in thickness and weighs 3.37g.
