Français : Photographie de deux antibulles (antibubbles) lors d'une de mes expériences en compagnie d'Antoine Confavreux.
Les deux antibulles se retrouvent immergées sous l'eau et prisonnières entre deux liquides de densités différentes (eau pure + savon et eau salée + savon). La méthode consiste à créer un gradient de densité de liquides savonneux et à jeter des gouttes d'eau savonneuses de densité égale au liquide le plus dense du bocal. Ainsi, après formation de l'antibulle (bulle de liquide contournée d'un film d'air), celle-ci restera coincée à la limite des deux liquides du bocal, juste au dessus de la phase de densité égale au liquide contenu dans l'antibulle. Ici, les deux antibulles furent colorées d'un simple colorant alimentaire rouge pour l'étude de leur mort. |
