Description
English: Here the stamens look like blue buttons and are yet to open to release their pollen.

These unusual felted plants belong to the Solanaceae family.

There are three Anthrotoche species in Western Australia. Two have this dark purple-violet-black coloured flowers.

Endemic near the W coast of W.A. between Geraldton and Shark Bay. Occurs on yellow sand plain in scrub-heath.
