Description
English: The Anthony J. "Tony" Fabruzza Memorial Fire Station, part of the David Crockett Steam Fire Company No. 1 operation — founded in 1841 and said to be (as of 2021) America's oldest continuousy operating volunteer fire department — in Gretna, a small, mostly working-class city in Jefferson Parish on the West Bank, or west side, of the Mississippi River, near New Orleans. (Louisiana calls its counties "parishes.").
