Description
English: Coastal motor vessel ANTARES built at Schiffswerft D.W. Kremer Sohn, Elmshorn, as twin-masted schooner for J. Vöge, Finkenwärder (yard № 374, 128 GRT, 27,01m length over all, 25m registered length), 06-04-1914 delivered as ANTARES to J. H. Ossenbrüggen, 1922 lengthened and converted to three-masted motor schooner (167 GRT, 32,86m), 16-01-1928 ANTARES (F.O.H. Harms, Hamburg), 23-02-1945 seized by Kommando der Luftwaffen-Versorgung, Kiel, 06-1945 returned to owner, 1953 lengthend and converted to coastal motor vessel, 05-07-1957 ANTARES (Albert Heitmann, Hamburg), 07-01-1971 sold for scrapping, 1971 broken up in Germany; photo by J.
