Summary

[edit]
Description
English: From the 8th century BC, one of two column bases at the entrance to the Hattina Palace, from Tainat Tell Tayinat (Tell Tainat) is located about 25km east to the city of Antakya. The site is about 800 meters to the site of Tell Açana. The site's ancient name was probably Kunulua which was the capital of Neo-Hittite kingdom Patina/Unqi (which were names used by Assyrians). Several orthostats and ornamented columnbases were found, which date to 9th - 7th centuries BC.
