Notes It is a unique example of Gothic tradition being suppressed by Renaissance patterns originating from Italy through Hungary. Barbara of Rożnów (1447 - 1517) was the granddaughter of the famous knight Zawisza Czarny of Garbowo, wife of Stanisław of Tęczyn, and after his death, she was the second wife of Jan Amor Tarnowski. In upper part, the monument is adorned with 2 cartouches with coats of arms Sulima (of Barbara's father), and Starykoń (of Barbara's mother). The figure of Barbara was formed to resemble Sorrowful Mary from the Crucifixion group.
