Summary
[edit]This paleontological restoration is inaccurate, or its accuracy is disputed. Reason: Lacking neck flaps (3 pairs in Anomalocaris); 12 pairs of body flaps (13 in A. canadensis); frontal appendages too short (approximately half of body length in A. canadensis); 4 pairs of tail fan blades (3 pairs in A. canadensis); no terminal tailpiece (evident in A. canadensis). |
