Description Anoitecer "vermelho" no Cristo Salvador de Sertãozinho. O por do Sol diferente foi ocasionado pela explosão do vulcão Cabulco, no Chile. A explosão lançou as cinzas vulcânicas a milhares de km de distância. A estátua do Cristo de Sertãozinho, que está localizada dentro do Parque Antônio Gimenes Filho, chamado popularmente de Parque do Cristo é composta por um pedestal que tem 38 metros de altura e, a estátua, feita de aço revestida por uma tela e argamassa de concreto, mede 18 metros. Ao todo, com 56 metros, é um dos maiores monumentos religiosos do mundo, e o maior monumento religioso da América do Sul. O local é ponto turístico da cidade para ver o Por do Sol e entardecer, o "Astro Rei" se põe exatamente a frente da cidade.
