Annular Buckle
Description
English: A Medieval to Post-Medieval copper alloy double looped annular buckle, probably dating to c. AD 1350-1650. The frame is sub-circular/oval in plan and sub-rectangular in cross section. The frame has a central integral bar, sub-circular in cross section, the pin is missing. The buckle frame is undecorated.

Dimensions: length 29.26mm; width 26.51mm; thickness 2.14mm; weight 4.7g.

Similar buckles are published by Whitehead [Buckles 1250-1800] 255 pg45, which he dates to c. AD 1350-1650.
