TheTrustees especially desire to insure the permanent growthand welfare of the Museum through an increase of theGeneral Endowment Fund. BUILDING FUND The Building Fund was established in 1916. TheTrustees desire to celebrate the Fifty-fifth Anniversaryof the Founding of the Museum, namely, 1924, throughthe Completion of the Southern Half of the great build-ing. Exempt from Taxation Gifts and Bequests to The American Museum of Natu-ral History are exempt from federal taxation, under theFederal Revenue Act of 1918.
