ndolph Rogers for the bronze doors in the Capitol at Washing-ton. Mr. Struthers has made a generous contribution toward the sumnecessary to make the purchase. Mrs. Bloomfield-Moore and Mrs. John W. Field, to whom theMuseum has been so largely indebted in the past, have made valuableadditions to their former gifts. Mrs. John Harrison is another gen-erous donor. Altogether, the total number of gifts received is 139. The most important loan is that made by the Rittenhouse Club ofthe Theodore Starr collection of chromo-lithographic prints publishedby the Arundel Society, some 150 in all. The Museum is now asubscribing member of this Society, and it is the intention of theCommittee to have the Starr collection framed and exhibited with theMuseum series. Early in the year four glass money-boxes with printed cards at-tached, inviting visitors to contribute to the purchase fund of the Mu-seum, were placed in the galleries. The contributions received inthis way have so far amounted to $177.05.
