In no case were there thread-bearingcapsules as in the spores of the Myxosporidia. A nucleus could not be made out either in the spore or the sporozoite. Theentire cell, however, acts like a nucleus in itsstaining reactions and I believe that neither thespore, the sporozoite, nor the adult organism hasa morphological nucleus, but all possess chromatindistributed throughout the cell. No trace of a motile organ could be foundon the sporozoites, which, in the intestine, werelost in the hordes of bacteria, so that they couldnot be followed. In the testis, however, theywere found in groups against the epithelial tissuesand were often seen in the epithelial cells.
