The interiors were never plastered, so far as the writer could determine. Figure291 shows the planof one of the principal sets of rooms, which occurs at the point markedDon the map, plate xxv; and plate xxxn is an interior view of theprincipal room, drawn from a flashlight photograph. This set of roomswas excavated in a pointof the cliff and extends completely through itas shown on the general plan, plate xxv. The first room entered measures lbfeet in length by 10 feet in width.
