The Shokowe choir is joinedby the flutists. The dance is nearly the same as before, the ditierencebeing that the hlewe are moved downward, while the song imploresGreat Mother of corn to give them many of her children duringthe coming year. After the dance the_v return to the Shokowe side,the Awan mosonokia lingering, as before, a short time in the plaza;those l)elonging to the Hlahewe pass around to the south side. The same persons who dressed the male dancer and the girls nowdisrobe them and prepare for another set of dancers, who appear assoon as the others are gone, led by the Awan amosi of the two sides.The new set is dressed as before described. The start this time ismade from the Shokowe side. After four sets of girls have danced,as described, a feast is served, seventy-tive great bowls of food andcoffee
