Its prominent location at the very entrance of ourgrounds, will justify still further expenditures in the way of flori-culture and decorations. The surroundings of the Angel of Peace, at the foot of Main Avenue,have been greatly improved at trifling cost, and add much to the ap-pearance of the place. The public grounds must all and always bekept in repair, which example the people, owners of private properties,will not.be slow to follow. Ocean Grove should be a garden of beauty. PLACES OF WORSHIP. Auditorium. -For several years the roof of this building has beenleaky. Last year the repairs, though guaranteed, were a failure. Thisyear, a new roof, without additional cost, was put on. It is not yet aperfect success, and wc- shall be compelled to take it in hand ourselves. The Young Peoples Temple.—The roof of this building has alsotroubled us, and a contract is now in hand, which, if not completed toentire satisfaction, there is to be no pay. The work not yet being com-plete, I am unable to report upon it. Thornley Chapel.—This modest, yet beautiful little structure, isvery useful, and remains in good repair. NEW AUDITORIUM. There is considerable interest manifested on this question. Themodel, built by Gen. J. C. Patterson, and Janitor, W. H. Stokes, afterplans by W. H. Carman, Esq., has been an object lesson of interest andattraction. Two gentlemen have agreed to give each $1,000, another$500, two others $250 each, another $100 for its erection.
