Catalogue of Agkiccltural Implements. 113 THE NEW MODEL BUCKEYE MOWER. The Standard Mowing Machine of America. ,
Text Appearing After Image:
The Buckeye has been for twenty-five years the Standard Mower of America. It has been tested every way by practical resuUs, and by comparison in field trials with all competitors, many of which have passed out of use. Its merits are efficie)icy, sirnplicity and durability. It has demonstrated that it will do all the work that can be done with a mowing machine. It does its work perfectly, while it has a fewer number of parts than any other machine, and these so arranged as in every way to carry out the best mechanical principles. It is the most reliable of farm implements. There are Buckeyes still doing good service, that have been in use from fifteen to twenty-five years. But those who are only familiar with the old Buckeye, do not fully know the merits of the New ]\Iodel Buckeye, which as far surpasses all the other mowers of today, as did the Buckeye of twenty-five years ago its competitors of that period. It has constantly been subjected to improvements carefully studied, in the direction of sim- plicity and durability. The improvements of the present season are especially excellent in these respects. The Nru) Model Buckeye of 1882 contaijis less pieces than any other mowing 7?iachine. Its few parts are so simple that they can be kept in order by any one who knows enough to handle a team. There is positively no work in the hay field of any kind or description that can be done with a mowing machine, that the New Model Buckeye cannot do; while its double jointed perfect float- ing cutter-bar, adapting itself to ail irregularities of surface, and many other long and fully tested features of construction, enable it to do a great deal of work that other machines cannot do. It , will cut any and all kinds of grass under any and all conditions, wet or dry, heavy or light, thick or thin. To sum up, the New Model Buckeye will perform all work that can be done with a mowing machine and meet every practical demand of the hay field. PRICE LIST. j,ianufacturer's J. Breck & Sons' Trices.
