They produce throughout the en- tire season an abundance of beau- tiful flowers in a great variety of delicate colors. They are of very easy culture and suitable for beds, mixed borders and ribbons. Easily grown free flowering plants, suitable for rockwork, shubberies, etc. Their fine feathery appear- ance makes them especially suit- able for bouquets. Showy single yellow flowers. Argophyllus has beautiful silvery foliage. Californicas, large double orange colored flowers. Cucumeri- folius is of branching habit and covered with small dark centered flowers. Early Double Flowered produces flowers from July until frost. Folia aurea variegata and nana variegata have beautiful yellow splashed foliage. The mul- tiflorus are showy perennial varie- ties. Golden Bouquet and Stella are particularly desirable on ac- count of their early blooming qualities. Lenticularis of graceful branching habit. Calliopsis-like. Very fine for cutting. Will bloom in midwinter if afforded the protection of a cold frame. Transplant every second year. Graceful spikes suitable for cutting. Beautiful and showy plants ; remark- able for the size and fine colors of flowers. The perennial sorts should be sown early indoors in order to get a successful flowering the same season. / A very superior strain offered either I mixed or in 12 separate colors, of cover.
