Description
Polski: Obwieszczenie szefa niemieckiej prokuratury w okupowanej Bydgoszczy z 3 lipca 1942, informujące iż 1 kwietnia 1942 kpt. Jan Drzewiecki oraz jego 20 towarzyszy zostali skazani na śmierć przez niemiecki sąd specjalny w Bydgoszczy (niem. Sondergericht Bromberg) i straceni w dniach 2-3 lipca 1942. Drzewiecki był oficerem WP oskarżonym o mordowanie volksdeutschów podczas tzw. „marszu śmierci do Łowicza” w pierwszych dniach kampanii wrześniowej 1939 roku.
English: German announcement in Bydgoszcz region of occupied Poland (dated 3rd July 1942), signed by chief prosecutor in Bydgoszcz, informing that captain Jan Drzewiecki and his twenty comrades were sentenced to death by “Special court in Bydgoszcz” (de: Sondergericht Bromberg) on 1st April 1942 and executed (2-3 July 1942). Drzewiecki was an officer of Polish Army who was accused of murdering ethnic Germans during so-called “Łowicz death march” in the first days of German invasion of Poland in September 1939.
