Portrait of Anne de Montmorency.
Français : Anne de Montmorency jeune. Lithographie tirée en 1882 d'après un dessin de Clouet (Jean, François ou leur école) autolithographié par Lord Ronald Gower au château de Howard (Yorkshire), extraite de Cent portraits de personnages français de la cour des Rois François Ier, Henri II et François II. Dimension du cadre de la lithographie : 27 x 34,5 cm. La collection de croquis à la sanguine de Jean et François Clouet appartenait à Catherine de Médicis. Dispersée après la mort de la reine-mère, elle a abouti au château de Howard (probablement à la suite d'une acquisition par le cinquième duc de Carlisle lors d'un achat en Flandres à la fin du XVIIIe siècle, d'après Alexandre Lenoir). Achetée en 1889 par le duc d'Aumale, la collection de 311 pièces est désormais conservée au musée Condé à Chantilly.
