DescriptionAnnandale Plantation.jpg | Hand-colored lantern slide of the mansion at Annandale Plantation in Mannsdale, Madison County, Mississippi. Built from 1857 to 1859 by Jacob Larmour for Margaret Johnstone. Design taken from Plate IV of Minard Lafever's Architectural Instructor, published in 1856. Largely unoccupied after Mrs. Johnstones death in 1880, it burned to the ground on September 9, 1924. A Classical Revival style replacement was later built at the site. | |||||
