ian stripe extending fromthe posterior extremity of the median line to the scutellum. Dorsumsparsely clothed with brown and yellowish-brown hairs. Scutellumbrownish-grey, becoming somewhat ochraceous near the centre of the 299 posterior margin, bearing three long yellowish-brown border bristles.Post-scutellum dark brown, nude. Pleurae ochraceous above, darkbrown below, the two colours sharply separated along the middleline. Wings (fig. 4) brownish-grey, darker along the anteriorborder, with two relatively large white spots anteriorly—onecovering the apex of the third longitudinal vein, the other coveringthe junction of the third and first longitudinal veins and the radio-medial cross vein. The apex of the wing is narrowly pale. Threeother pale spots are present, but are smaller and much lessconspicuous than the two costal spots mentioned above.
