But it is a fact well attested that these depreda-tions were not committed by railroad, or any otherlaborers or artisans as a class, but by the evil disposed of-all classes. All railroadmen are not honest or perfectmen, neither are all capitalists, bankers, merchants,priests or preachers. Human nature is about the samein all classes, and with all conditions of the people.
