FRIENDS MEETING HOUSE AT KINGWOOD (NOW QUAKERTOWN), N. J., BUILT IN 1745-7, AND TAKEN DOWN IN 1862.(From a drawing kindly lurnished by Miss Evangeline Vail, of Quakertown.) 22, 1730. In 1735 he built thereon a stonedwelling, which is still standing in a fair stateof preservation and is still owned and occupiedby his descendants, never having passed out ofthe possession of the family and not untilrecently out of the name. The Large home-stead was near, and it is related of Samuel Will-son and his sister Rebecca that in their old agethey frequently visited each other and playedtogether like children, the one visited alwaysaccompanying the visitor on the homeward wayas far as the stile, where they would separatewith tears.
