CAPONIZING 137 method of restraint is illustrated iu Figure 114. With a barrel or box used as ail improvised operating table one eord is looped around the wings and another around the legs. The length of these eords depends upon the size of the box or barrel being used. To the free end of each eord a weight- one half briek—is attached. The fowl is now placed on the table and the weights produce snffieient traction on the cords to hold it in proper posi- tion.
