Description
Español: En esta fotografía estamos representando ondas bidimensionales. Preparamos una bandeja transparente con una hoja blanca debajo, y un cuentagotas que de a poco iba tirando pequeñas gotas de agua para que se produzcan ondas circulares, y así poder capturar este fenómeno.

Este fenómeno ocurre cuando un agente externo perturba de forma rítmica la superficie del agua, donde se crean ondas que se propagan en un plano horizontal. Como en este caso la perturbación fue puntual, es decir, una gota directa hacia el agua, se formaron ondas circulares que se expandieron uniformemente desde el punto de origen (la gota).

No fue fácil lograr el resultado ya que las ondas rápidamente desaparecían y no lográbamos capturar el momento indicado, sin embargo, luego de numerosos intentos dimos con esta imagen que representa de manera muy clara este fenómeno tan interesante.
