Description
English: Map of the Angolan Civil War during July - December 1993.

After suffering a string of defeats during early 1993, government forces spent some time to regroup and rebuild their strength for their next offensive. Huambo became the focal point for their next offensive as it not only held strategic significance, but also political. The offensive was split across four axes: Cuanza Sul and Huila to cover the northern and southern flanks, respectively, and two in Benguela to drive straight toward Huambo. Sources used:
