Anglo-Saxon dress pin
Description
English: Anglo-Saxon hipped dress pin. Shank is bent at a 45 degree angle at tip. Swelling, or hip, on shank immediately before the bend. Solid cast ovoid head with grooved twist (wrythern) decoration. Small collar between shank and head. Diameter of head 9.5mm, diameter of shank 2.2mm.
