Title
Anglo-Saxon copper alloy tweezers
Description
English: Incomplete pair of copper alloy tweezers. The tweezers are rectangular in cross-section and flare to a wide and inturned nib. The perimeter is decorated with a row of outward pointing stamped triangles, with a stamped 'ladder' motif across the waist. The apex is decorated with four longitudinal ribs.

The tweezers are damaged at the waist. One arm is bent outwards, whereas the other is missing from the waist collar downwards. The point of break is very clean, linear and has the appearance as if it was cut off rather than accidently damaged.

The tweezers taper from 12mm at the nib end to 5mm at the apex.
