Title
Anglo-Saxon copper alloy small long brooch
Description
English: Fragment of a headplate from an Anglo-Saxon small long brooch. The headplate is rectangular, flat, and has an integral half-rounded collared knop at the top. Corrosion covers the perimeter of the headplate, rendering it impossible to see if there once was decoration. Two lugs extend from the reverse, and iron corrosion is located between and around them. The brooch is broken at the base of the headplate.
