Title
Anglo-Saxon copper alloy small long brooch
Description
English: Headplate from an Anglo-Saxon brooch, probably a small long rather than a cruciform brooch. The headplate is roughly rectangular but has no original perimeter remaining. The face of the brooch is decorated with four small holes creating the four corners of a rectangle of punched dots. The lower two holes are along the lower break. The bow is faceted and largely missing. There is a single pin lug on the reverse covered with iron corrosion.
