Anglo-Saxon copper-alloy Cruciform brooch
Description
English: Lower bow and foot from a copper-alloy Cruciform brooch dating to the early Anglo-Saxon period. The bow is arched in profile and faceted at the base. There are three moulded ribs running down the centre of the bow. The upper part of the foot is decorated with a moulded transverse collar of four ribs, and is broken at the top of the zoomorphic terminal. The catchplate survives on the reverse.
