Summary

Description

Church Monthly was an annual bound copy of Anglican church magazines, including general news and articles about Anglican clergy and church buildings. Each bound copy was optionally commissioned by, and personalised to, a specific local Anglican church, and included a years-worth of its parish magazine. The included articles about the Church of England in general, were often articles about past and current clergy, and illustrated histories of local churches by antiquarians. Many of these bound copies are held in the British Library and in some county archives of the UK.
