L’installation d’Angelika Markul Monte Negro 2012 traduit, avec peu de moyens, des sentiments complexes d’anxiété et d’énergie, de deuil et de renaissance, de déchirure et de libération. Monte Negro 2012 permet une immersion dans la matière plastique tant affectionnée par l’artiste. Construite comme une marée noire, évoquant les résidus du consumérisme de notre civilisation urbaine ainsi que la poésie picturale sombre et désenchantée, l’œuvre Monte Negro 2012 offre un refuge possible derrière le miroir.

Angelika Markul’s installation Monte Negro 2012 reveals, with limited resources, some complex feelings: anxiety and energy, mourning and rebirth, wrench and liberation. Monte Negro 2012 offers an immersion into the plastic, a material strongly affectionated by the artist. Built as an oil spill referring to the residue of consumerism from our civilization – a dark and disillusioned urban poetry – Monte Negro 2012 gives possible shelter behind the mirror.
