English: The nature reserve and locality of European importance with named Valley of Anny. An important part of the nature reserve lies in the valley with the local name "near st. Anna" (after St. Anne's Chapel in the valley). Exposed layers of rocks in the valley slope with a spring of water. Photo location: Czechia, Pardubice Region, Skuteč town.
Čeština: Přírodní rezervace a evropsky významná lokalita Anenské údolí. Významná část přírodní rezervace leží v údolí s místním jménem "u svaté Anny" (podle kaple svaté Anny v údolí). Odkryté vrstvy hornin ve svahu údolí s pramenem vody. Geomorfologický útvar sevřeného a zhruba dva kilometry dlouhého Anenské údolí severně od Skutče je součástí geomorfologického okrsku Štěpánovská stupňovina. Jméno geomorfologické jednotky je odvozeno od obce Štěpánov (část Skutče). Strmé svahy Anenského údolí (20 - 25°) pod Štěpánovem jsou tvořeny vrstvami usazených křídových hornin druhohorního stáří (mezozoikum), které jsou příznivé pro akumulaci podzemních vod. Průtokem Anenského potoka a dalšími erozními činiteli byly v některých částech údolí obnaženy vrstvy tzv. opukového kamene. Z puklin na více místech Anenského údolí vytéká podzemní voda. Anenské údolí je významnou hydrogeologickou lokalitou s hlubinným vrtem a úpravnou vody pro potřeby města Skutče a okolních obcí.
