Description

Maj. Gen. Andrew Rohling remarks on joining the U.S. Army Europe team at a Patch Ceremony held on Clay Kaserne in Wiesbaden, Germany.


Lt. Gen. Christopher Cavoli welcomed the new U.S. Army Europe Deputy Commanding General Maj. Gen. Andrew Rohling at a patch ceremony held on Clay Kaserne in Wiesbaden, Germany.


Rohling joins the USAREUR command team from Allied Rapid Reaction Corps in the United Kingdom where he served as the deputy chief of staff of Operations. He also served tours with the 173rd Airborne Brigade and the Southern European Task Force in Vicenza Italy.


During his welcoming remarks, LTG Cavoli said that U.S. Army Europe was lucky to get a great leader like general Rohling.


“the job you are about to step in is enormous, its important, in fact vital to this command. We thank the Army for sending you to us.”


During his short welcome remarks Rohling said it was great to be back in Europe.


“It is great to be back to our German friends and our Italian friends and we enjoy every part of this.”
