Description

Fred (aka Pete) Bellamy was born 11 Jun 1896 in Portishead, Somerset, England and he died 30 Aug 1948 at the ae of 52 in or around Glasgow, Scotland. He was the son of Francis William Bellamy who was born 9 Mar 1863 in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, England and who died 21 April 1924 in Guelph, Ontario. Fred's Mum was Eliza Frances Brown who was born 17 Oct 1864 in Winterbourne, Ontario and who died 7 Mar 1945 at 87 Filbert Street, in Kitchener, Ontario. Fred's parents were married 1 Jun 1893 in Woolwich, Waterloo Co., Ontario. After their marriage they were in England for the birth of their oldest child, Lucia Lanphier Bellamy who was born 19 Feb 1894 in Bradford, Great Horton, Yorkshire, England. Lucia married on 7 Feb 1921 in Guelph, Ontario, Joseph Victor Robbs (who was born 1887 Gedney Fen, Lincolnshire, England & died 3 Jul 1948 Hanna, Alberta). Lucia died shortly after on 29 August 1921 at the age of 27 due to complications of pregnancy (kidney failure). After Andrew Frederick was born on 11 Jun 1896 in Portishead the family returned to Winterbourne, Ontario, Canada where Fred and Lucia's younger siblings were all born: Esther Greaves "Ett" (28 Sep 1898 - 20 Jun 1962 Kitchener) married John Hoy in 1921 Annie Margaret "Nan" (12 Jul 1900 - 6 Feb 1977 Victoria, BC) married Arthur Wm. Brookman Francis William Edward "Frank" (23 Sep 1902 - 18 Nov 1986 Pt. Colbourne)

   m'd Gladys Robinson first, then May Hoyle second

Jean Gordon (24 Jul 1904 - 19 Nov 1986 Guelph) married Fred Bowman Kelly (Kelly's Music)
