Notes
English: The copy of the famous portrait by Raphael was secretly ordered in 1524 by Ottaviano de' Medici to Andrea del Sarto. This copy was given deceiving Federico Gonzaga, in place of the original which he had asked as a gift to Clement VII. The original is at the Uffizi. This a high quality work by Andrea del Sarto differs from the transparency in the work of Raphael.
