Constelación del Hemisferio: NORTE.

Nombres de las Estrellas:

Alfa, ALFERATZ - Del árabe: Surrat al-Faras, "el ombligo del caballo". Estrella blanco-purpurino.

Beta, MIRACH - Del árabe: al-Maraqq, "los hijares". Estrella rojiza.

Gamma 1 y 2, ALMACH - Del árabe: Anaq al-Ard, literalmente, "el cabrillo terrestre". Estrella de color anaranjado, y una compañera blanca (2).

Delta, DELTA - Del griego: la letra delta del alfabeto griego, mencionado en el catálogo de Burrit.

Xi, ADHIL - Del árabe. Estrella amarilla.

Psi, KEUN NAN MUN - Del chino: la puerta sur del campo.
