Description
Français : Statue du sévir Turpion, découverte dans les fouilles de Trion et transportée sur la place de Choulans. Fac-simile agrandi d'une photographie de M. P. Bosi. (La façon dont la toge remonte derrière le cou semblerait indiquer qu'elle recouvrait la tête et que Turpion était représenté en costume sacerdotal.) Figure 397, page 337 du livre d'André Steyert, Nouvelle histoire de Lyon et des provinces, de lyonnais, Forez, Beaujolais, Franc-lyonnais et Dombes, tome premier, Antiquité depuis les temps préhistoriques jusqu'à la chute du royaume burgonde (534), illustré par l'auteur de 800 dessins, cartes, plans, etc. Lyon, Bernoux et Cumin, 1895.
