Português: Andes cobertos pela neve na região metropolitana de Santiago, ontem. No centro da imagem o Monumento Nacional El Morado, circo glacial, depressão em forma de anfiteatro, no começo de um vale glacial em U; ambos formados pela erosão glacial. À sua dir. está o Cerro Arenas, 4450m, localizável por sua sombra. Em marrom, vales dos rios Yeso, alto à esq. e El Volcán, abaixo do centro. Em marrom claro amarelado, deslizamento de terra recente / Andes mountains covered by snow at Metro Santiago, yesterday. At image center is El Morado national monument, a glacial cirque, amphitheatre-like valley formed by glacial erosion. To its right is Cerro Arenas, 15,000 ft, found by its shadow. In brown rivers Yeso, top left, and El Volcán, below image center, valleys. Recent landslide in yellowish light brown.
