Summary

English: And they're off This captures the first pigeon out as the flaps of the truck are lowered. The pigeons were released on the dot of 11 o'clock from the Park & Ride next to Cheltenham Racecourse. They had travelled down from Cheshire and a small crowd had gathered to watch the start of their race for home. Following their release, they circled the racecourse for a while until they got their bearings. Only one was reluctant to leave the truck and had to be coaxed out. He then flew off in the wrong direction. |
