| Description |
English: Part of ancient yew, in the parish churchyard of St Nicholas, Thanington Without, Kent. It is outside the main door of the church, which it probably pre-dates. Now held together by two encircling hawsers, it is encircled by an octagonal bench, each side of which is more than a yard long, which gives the tree a girth of more than 25 feet. |
