Summary
[edit]DescriptionAncient snicket leading to West End, Kirkbymoorside - geograph.org.uk - 362197.jpg |
English: Ancient snicket leading to West End, Kirkbymoorside The entrance to this alleyway, snicket, ginnel or jigger is barely 3 feet wide. It led from the old main road, West End (seen ahead) across fields and orchards, now a housing estate. As everywhere in this ancient market town, building materials are an intriguing and attractive mixture of anything available over the centuries. |
