Description
English: Sodh Khar is one the three ancient forts of sodh area kargil It was burnt and destroyed during the 19th century Dogra Raid of Ladakh. The fort itself is 500 years old and the chief atraction is the place where the king buried alive his queen along with her horse and Hookah. Legend has it that for seven days one heard the queen smoking her hookah.Tresaure hunters have ruined the place several times in search of jewels
