Summary
[edit]DescriptionAncient boundary stone near Cropredy bridge - geograph.org.uk - 1525242.jpg |
English: Old boundary stone near Cropredy bridge. It is thought to date from the C15 or C16, and hence likely to have been in place when the battle of Cropredy Bridge was fought in the surrounding fields in 1644. The stole was re-erected as part of the 2002 Queen's Golden Jubilee celebrations. |
