A votive offering dish made from Diorite,a hard crystalline igneous rock.It is inscribed with hieroglyphs on two long sides. This was donated to Harrogate Corporation's museums in 1930 by J R Ogden,who was a jeweller and goldsmith of high repute as well as being keen amateur collector of antiquities.His family still run a jewellers store in Harrogate
