Description
English: The Anacortes Railway was a narrow-gauge railway that ran 14 blocks in Anacortes, Washington. Handbuilt by Tommy Thompson, it closed in 1999 after his death. As of 2013, its rolling stock is in the Georgetown PowerPlant Museum, Seattle, Washington. A barn that used to be the storage space for the rolling stock remains on the grounds of the former Great Northern Depot, R Ave. & Seventh St., Anacortes, Washington.
