Title
An incomplete cast iron brooch dating to the Roman period, (45-410AD).
Description
English: An incomplete cast iron brooch dating to the Roman period, (45-410AD). The brooch is highly corroded and therefore not much detail can be seen. The head is damaged and the bow arches outwards. It is curved in profile. The bow is wide and rectangular in cross-section. It tapers towards the foot which appears to have a rounded knop, however it may just be corrosion. The object is in poor condition. Two other iron brooches which have been recorded on the database have also come from this site, LVPL-104105 and LVPL-102345.
